High-Temperature Elastic Insulating Tape
Elastic thermal insulation Fiberglass-Metal tape, resistant to very high temperatures.
Made of fiberglass fabric bonded to an aluminum foil layer, which makes it more flexible. Thanks to its elastic properties, it can be easily applied even to exhaust bends. Usually, 2/3 layers are sufficient for most diesel exhaust applications. Maximum operating temperature: 600°C.
An external protective layer of high-temperature resistant self-amalgamating elastomer tape can optionally be added to create a smooth, uniform surface.
