Vetus ASD Anti-Siphon
Anti-siphon air vents for exhaust systems installed below the waterline. Featuring a rotatable and removable valve/hose connection for easy maintenance.
If the point where the cooling water is injected into the exhaust system is less than 15 cm above the waterline, or below it, cooling water may flow back into the exhaust system and reach the engine when it is stopped. This risk can be prevented by installing an anti-siphon device at least 40 cm above the waterline.
