Description
High-precision, high-quality mechanical shaft seals made from a combination of AISI 316 Stainless Steel and Graphite, easy to install and maintain. The mechanical seal is achieved through perfect flat contact between the Stainless Steel ring and the Graphite part. The Stainless Steel ring is secured to the propeller shaft with set screws, so it rotates together with the shaft, while the graphite part remains stationary on the seal. The mechanical shaft seals can be installed directly on the stern tube, with the rubber sleeve secured by clamps. The standard connection diameter between the rubber sleeve and the stern tube is 113 mm; however, by using reducers, the mechanical seals can also be installed on stern tubes measuring 87 mm or imperial sizes of 3 1/4" and 4".
