The mechanical seal takes place thanks to the perfect junction between the Stainless Steel ring and High-reliability, premium-quality mechanical seals with a rotating ring in 316L stainless steel, stationary ring in graphite, and nitrile sleeve reinforced with Kevlar fiber.
The GV version with hose connector allows water lubrication and is ideal for boats exceeding 20 knots, where the stuffing box or shaft housing may empty due to speed-induced vacuum.
Sealing is ensured by the perfect contact between the rotating and stationary rings, without the use of grease or gaskets.
It also tolerates misalignment and does not wear the shaft at the contact points.
It is installed directly on the shaft housing tube or the stuffing box head.
